What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx[name], where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx[name] event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
TEDxWalthamstow Event
At TEDxWalthamstow, we are committed to showcasing Walthamstow's talent so the majority of our speakers may be local but undiscovered gems. We will also aim to feature topics that may be of interest to people locally but with allocate room for wider-reaching topics.
Venue for TEDxWalthamstow
We are lucky to have Monoux Sixth Form College as our fantastic venue in Walthamstow.
The event will be Saturday 19th of October 2024 for a full day with a fantastic line up of speakers and entertainment
